School Calendar 2007-2008

July 28th: Testing for return students required to be tested for promotion. Testing starts at 10:00 AM in the school.
July 29th: Orientation, final registration starts at 10:00 AM. Location: to be announced
July 30th: Teacher institute and final preparations. Start at 10:00 AM in the school.
August 1st: School Starts at 7:30 AM sharp.
Sept. 3rd: Teachers' workday. (No school)
Oct. 5th: End of first Quarter. (No school). Please pick up grade reports and schedule conferences with your children's teachers
Oct. 8th: Beginning of Second Quarter
Oct. 12th-16th: Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays (No school)
Nov. 23rd: Teachers' workday (No school)
Dec. 14th: End of Second Quarter. (No school). Please pick up grade reports and schedule conferences with your children's teachers
Dec. 17th-Jan 1st: Eid-ul-Adha Holidays. (No school)
Jan. 2nd: Beginning of Third Quarter
Feb. 1st: Teachers' Work Day (No school)
Feb.29th: End of Third Quarter. (No school). Please pick up grade reports and schedule conferences with your children's teachers
Mar. 3rd: Beginning of Fourth Quarter
Mar. 12th-14th: Spring Break
Apr. 4th: Teachers' Work Day (No school)
Apr. 21st-25th: SAT Testing
May 2nd: End of School. (No school). Please pick up grade reports and schedule conferences with your children's teachers
May 3rd: Graduation ceremonies and end of ear party. Time and location will be announced later.






Schedule
Dismissal is at 3:00 PM, Monday thru Thursday, with the exception of Ramadaan.
On Friday, dismissal is at 2:00 PM, after Juma'.
In Ramadaan, classes will end at 1:30 PM and dismissal will be after Dhuhr prayer, Monday thru Thursday. Friday's dismissal doesn't change.
